Sx1280 Ranging

I am using the SX1280 Devkit loaded with the firmware code downloaded from Semtech website to do ranging. I observed that the FEI (frequency error indicator) are only given by four fixed values. I tried different pair of hardware in different environment which also gave the same result. Is it some thing correct? How can the FEI be not dynamic (changing over time, changing in different environment)?
The Frequency Estimated Error indeed takes discrete values. It depends on the Bandwidth and Spreading Factor of the LoRa signal (and of the crystals error between transmitter and receiver of course).
For more details concerning the usage of this value, you can refer to the document [AN1200.29](https://www.semtech.com/uploads/documents/introduction_to_ranging_sx1280.pdf), and particularly the section 4 Correction of Timing Errors.
