SX1276 “explodes” in a wide span

we have a LoRa modem we've been using for 2 years successfully. Recently we made a minor change (RNs replaced by discrete resistors due to fab issues). The new modem features a clean spectral performance. In most cases. However sometimes, sending the same message results in some ghastly outburst. Must be a lot of energy in a very broad span (10MHz or so), see attached. Has anyone experienced such situation? I'd be really grateful for tips.
